Technology Management


Technology Management combines emerging technologies with modern management principles. Technology management is interdisciplinary by nature, and includes systems analysis and design, project management, enterprise information architecture planning and design, evaluation of technology value, identification and assessment of opportunities for technology-enabled business transformation and information systems management. Technology managers are responsible for achieving competitive advantage through the effective development and integration of technology into organizations. There is a growing need for managers in all functional areas to be conversant with strategies and tactics for managing the use of technology. Engineering technology managers, must be excellent communicators, provide constructive criticism, delegate work, problem solve, and build strong teams.
